My paternal grandfather, Oliver Sutton, born about 1843 in Baker County, Georgia, died May 1, 1894 in New Orleans, Louisiana.  Finding these photographs of the elusive Oliver Sutton was like striking gold!  The graphic used on top of this page is Oliver's actual signature, taken from the last letter he wrote to Susan Ada Morse Sutton, my grandmother, before he died.  Due to the personal nature of this letter, it is only accessible to members of my immediate family.
